Turo has changed. Now that traditional rental car platforms are back online we have much more competition. As a business owner we must remain flexible, competitive and flow with the times. So I had to make some changes.I WANT IT
The first thing I had to do was complete my turo inspection process. This was simple. I simply searched for a turo approved service on google. Then i took the form they provide in the maintenance tab and paid $30 for them to inspect the car. After it passed I took a picture of the document and added it to my profile. The car was instantly relisted.
So while I was in the app I decided to make some changes to my location, my delivery fees and I also double checked the pricing.
I noticed that the recommended pricing for my vehicle was lower than I had it set. So while I was hesitant to do so, i lowered it to the new rate.
Once I did that I woke up to a new booking. Then more came and more came and even this morning it got booked up twice. The car is back running.
All because I went and revisited the TURO suggested pricing.
One thing TURO doesn't do is adjust your prices for you. That is up to you. You must constantly be aware of what the market is. WHY? Because it's not just about you and your car. You are competing with everyone else who has a car and now we are back competing with Hertz, Enterprise etc.
So if TURO has been slow for you lately, go in and tweak your settings. The demand determines the pricing not you.
Grab the TURO boss course where I detail things like this and a bunch of other tips that will help you get your business started and making money for you easy and fast.
